Leadership Coaching Skills for Team Engagement and Motivation
Think about when you have had a great manager. Think about when people say that they would really like to work for a specific person. This is almost always because the great manager blends a high level of competence and getting results with an ability and willingness to listen to and inspire team members.
Great managers know when they need to step in themselves to instruct and direct – and when to use essential coaching techniques to “pull out” and leverage their team members’ own opinions, ownership and commitment in their day to day activities.
This program provides the essential coaching mindset, skills and tools for managers to have motivating coaching conversations with their teams. It also shows when these coaching skills are appropriate- or not- in daily work.
Program Format
2 X 0.5 Day Online Session, Chinese Language Delivery
Key Learning Factors in this Session
• In the first half-day module we learn the importance of both Directing AND Coaching skills – and when to use them. We then learn and practice the 4 Core Coaching Skills – which are required for ALL successful coaching interactions. Coming out of the session participants can immediately practice in their daily work and lives.
• In the second module we gain self- awareness via the world renowned Harrison Paradox Report and learn two practical coaching models for the workplace.
• The program provides constant practice and feedback in a safe environment.
